we live in a destination trailer in a campground in Wisconsin, for 6 years we have been requesting a tank with a gauge!! On September 26 I called for gas as the tank felt like it was about empty. we ran out of gas at 11PM on September 27th, It was 50 degrees in trailer next morning!! driver arrived as I was trying to switch over to a 30# cylinder, The driver has always done a great job for us, but he can only do so much!! Looking at the web sight we are being charged for a 200# tank, but it took 37.1 gallons when the driver filled the empty tank!! If we had a tank with a gauge this would not happen !!

We had issues getting an appt for weeks. Then they cancelled the evening before the first appt - which cost us a workday. They didn’t have all the necessary parts the first visit and had to come back. After the final visit, a lot of discarded metal and wire pieces and garbage were left on our yard. Thankfully, our dog doesn’t chew or eat things like that or we would have had an emergency vet visit.

More expensive then any other company in the area, was charged for platinum plus contract and was automatically signed up. Asked to have tank painted but never came out. Plus side I've never had an issue with having tank filled within 3 days of request and there website makes it easy to order and pay.

Very poor customer service.....way more expensive than any other company. I was given 2 different prices in 1 phone call and then told "I don't set the prices". Still not sure why it was $2.94/ gallon then in her next breath it was $2.59 which is still .20 more than anyone else for horrible service. If it wasn't such a pain switching tanks I would definitely go to Lakes Gas. THEY ARE WONDERFUL to deal with and .20 cheaper per gallon. STAY AWAY FROMTHESE GUYS!!!!!!

While I have a relationship with Ferrell Gas, it is quite one sided. Two years ago (2020), the tech who worked on a new install for generator, stated he would order a replacement 500 gal tank. This summer, 2022, I scraped, primed&painted the old tank. Materials alone were over $100. All they offer to pay is $50. This supposed paint credit appeared on my bill as a charge. I paid the gas bill short the $50 paint credit. Now I have a $100 past due and late fee. Tank rental has increased from $12 to $40 per year. When I asked about this increase, I was told that Ferrell Gas has many tanks in customer hands with no gas sales. I responded, "charge those customers or collect your tank. I purchase gas from Ferrell Gas". I was told all customers have to pay more. I am looking to purchase a tank to replace the Ferrell Gas leased tank. I may still buy gas from them, if they are competitive, but will conduct my business rationally rather than be tied to idiotic policy.
