2 months agoThey consistently have expired food on their shelves. The salad dressing I bought had expired 5 months ago.

4 months agoWhere do I begin? Almost every time I go in there some price is screwed up. Most recently, grapes were advertised at 99 cents per pound in the newsprint advertisement, and the signage by the grapes said 99 cents. What did they ring up as? 1.99 of course. Brought this to the attention at the service counter, which they said "Corporate does the pricing and must have not gotten to it yet". Here is the thing...It was late Thursday, sale started Wednesday, so for 2 days they were overcharging people!! Maybe if they didn't have all the different price adjustments on ads, digital ads, buy 5, etc they would not make errors, and have more employees to actually help. Next, the new layout is insane. Probably not ADA compliant through the maze in the floral department. Self Checkout lines are so busy with Ruby Aisle closing and there is no real direction on how to form a line, which is made more difficult by putting food bins in the middle of the busy area. Last time I was in an employee was trying to get through this traffic jam with the rolling shelving unit that they use to fill the hoity-toity drive-up customers orders, and it was a disaster waiting to happen. I should not be inconvenienced, already doing the cashiers job at the self checkout, only to be moved out of the way by employees serving the lazy drive-up customers. Final note. If it were not for the stellar service in the Pharmacy, I would not shop in the store ever.

3 months agoThis was one of the worst experiences I have had at the Pick and Save at Calhoun & Capitol. There was an item with the sale price in front of it on the shelf. I put one of the grocery items in my cart and went to check out. The original price appeared, so being at the self check out, I let the cashier know that the item was on sale. He asked if I had a moment and he would check on the sale price. I said sure. After returning, he said "the manager said this item never goes on sale". I told him I didn't want it and I would go back to get something else. When I went back, and the cashier who was following me, noticed that the sale price was right in front of the item I wanted to buy. Seeing that, I said to the cashier that here is the sale price and you and your manager are wrong. This item does go on sale. I was a bit offended, because I was just called a liar. The cashier proceeded to take the sale price tag off the shelf and said to me that the sale price expired. Working in retail, I know that this was a mistake that Pick and Save did and therefore I should have the sale price. At this point, we were back at the self check out lanes, other customers are hearing our conversations and once again the cashier said no you are not getting the sale price. One of your managers overheard the conversation and she came over, I explained to her what is happening and she told the checker to give me the sale price. This difference was only $1.50 but with all your competition around and everyone I talk to the last couple of days, I have told the story to them and now you are getting a bad review. Was it really worth it, especially when Pick and Save made the mistake on many levels? To top things off, I didn't get an apology or nothing, just a dirty look from the cashier. The checker, I won't say his name, was working at the self check-outs on Monday, December 5th, 2022 around 1:00. Hopefully, you can teach him some customer service or you will continue to lose more business.

3 months agoThis place is terrible, rarely are there carts unless you grab one from the parking lot, never any baskets for a quick shop, never enough lines open. And today, took 15 minutes to check out with 4 items and they were out of milk.

a month agoIncredibly horrible bagging and selections when placing online orders. Ground beef thrown in bag and leaked all over. Produce not in bags and thrown in with canned goods! I’ve shopped here for over 15 years and quality and customer service is the worst I’ve ever seen.
