Pick ‘N Save

Not a great grocery store. Liquor section is frequently closed during normal operating hours, shelves are often bare, and checkout line is always terribly long. They never have more than 1 manned cashier aisle and then only open half of their self checkout lines for some reason.. I live right down the block and really wish the condition of this store would improve for convenience sake, but I’m generally happier walking to the fresh thyme down the street even if I have to pay more

Good lord. You could wait for self check out for a half an hour. Never any cashiers, even if there are 12 people on the floor stocking stuff. Easy to find stuff but checking out is absolutely awful. Employees at or near bakery counter will look at you multiple times and not stop stocking or doing whatever to help. I felt so bad for the 1 cashier working with 45 people waiting in line. Yikes.

I have no idea what has happened to this once great store. It takes 2-3 people to monitor the self check out (Why not just have them check people out)and I frequently see milwaukee police in the store standing at the self check out which I consider a poor use of police resources. Lines for the self check out extend down the isles and it's very difficult to shop there.

I shopped at this store despite the reviews and was attacked by an employee. I simply asked an associate that was standing at the self check out with no customers for assistance and was told "You gotta ask somebody else". So I did and then walking to check out I told the associate that instead of telling customers what they "GOTTA DO" maybe she could have asked another associate to help me. At that point she began cursing and threatening me in a store full of customers and her manager standing right there. The other store staff had to actually hold this associate back from attacking me. I asked for her name repeatedly and was told "we dont know". So I left the store and called multiple times just to be hung up on. I have emailed corp and called the next morning back to the store and spoke with another MOD who said he would have the store manager Nicole call me back. We'll see.....

9/23/2022 It's getting worse and worse with every visit. Tonight there were zero manned checkout lines open. You had to self-check out. And someone spilled something when they were checking out so the single associate that was watching people check out was cleaning that up and ignoring everyone else. My requests for help were falling on deaf ears. I went to the service counter but they refused to provide any service. "You have to talk to that man over there." And when he was done with the other checkout, another store employee came up to talk to him so I was ignored for longer. When he finally came to help me and I asked why the computer called for help, he replied, "That's just what it does. You have to be patient." And it was not spoken in a nice way. He just reset everything. Didn't check out what the problem was. So I expect it's going to be like this EVERY TIME FROM NOW ON! 2021 Mask policy ignored by staff and patrons. Security guard walks around the store with no mask. Huge line to self check .
